Kid-Tested, Mother-Approved

Posted by Sofia
giveaway closed!!
   Let's talk about toddler appetite. Or more lack of it. Long gone the days when my 19 months old used eat 3 meals and have snacks. Now it seems just snacks. Don't get me wrong, he eats allright, but there are more and more days when he is a hard to please picky eater...
This morning:
- scrambled eggs?
( shaking head side to side)
- blueberries?
(no)
- banana?
-(no)
-milk?
(no)
-oatmeal?
-apple sauce?
NO! NO! NO!

Ah! I don't know what to do? Alex seems to eat very little unless it is cookies, of course. So, i try to make each bite count. A week ago when we returned from California, there was a package on our front door. It was from Kix via MyBlogSpark, containing following:
- two boxes Kix Cereals;
- sippy cup;
- numbers large puzzle;
- numbers/math book;
- snack container;

I was pretty excited to try new toys along with new Kix cereals. The 'Kid-Tested, Mother-Approved' cereal is made with whole greain corn and is a great source of iron, calcium, fiber and vitamins. Yay! Honestly, Alex didn't want it the traditional way with milk but he loved it just as a snack through the day. We tried out the sippy cup right away.

  Watching my kid eating - makes my heart smile.
Watching my kid eating healthy - makes me feel good as a parent.

Daddy and son had fun time building number puzzle.

Try for yourself. I was given another identical Kix Prize Pack to giveaway to one of my readers.

Entry 1. Tell me what do your kids (or you) usually eat for breakfast.
Entry 2. Follow my blog.

Winner will be chosen randomly on December 12th by noon. This giveaway is closed!

'Comment' button is at the top of each post.

Disclosure: Kix provided me with the products, information, and giveaway through MyBlogSpark. I received a prize pack exactly like the one I’m giving away.

My son likes a Nutrigrain bar, yogurt and juice for breakfast on most days.

I do not eat breakfast (unless of course you consider a pot of coffee breakfast, then yes I do). My 4-year-old likes any kind of cereal. My 2-year-old picky son only wants fruit snacks (or nacks as he calls them). Frustrating!
